Default Weird problem I can't figure out

Hi all, I hope somebody else here has had this problem and can help me out. My bike is a 2012 heritage, se aircleaner, Rush 2 into 1 pipes, Powervision tuner. My bike has ran flawlessly since it was new however, last week I was going about 60 and was coming to an intersection where I had to turn. So as I tried to blip the throttle to downshift, nothing. The engine just wanted to shutdown. I pumped the throttle and it spit and sputtered then came back to life. Ran fine for the rest of the day. Now its getting more and more frequent. Yesterday, I rode about 100 miles without issue then it came back. This time as it was happening I noticed the gauges on the powervision were all out of wack. Head temp was reading 60 degrees and everything else was bouncing all over the place. I shut it down and restarted it and all seemed fine. On the way home I stopped at a grocery store to get some steaks to grill. I came out, packed up my goodies and tried to start it. Nothing! Cranks over fine but no start. Strong smell of gas so I just let it sit for a bit while I had a cig. Tried again and it started as normal. Got me home and here I am. The gauges for the VE seem to be a bit odd too. Front running around 80 and the rear around 100. Anybody ever seen anything like this before? ECM Failing? Coil? I'm clueless. I kind of wish it would just fail so it would be obvious whats wrong. Thanks for reading.

Since you still have your PV hooked up, it could be going bad. Try running without it to see if your problem goes away.

Thanks! I don't know why I didn't think of that. Could very well be the pv failing. Hopefully I was too quick to blame the bike. I'll take her for a spin and see what happens. Hopefully it wont strand me...LOL...
