Hey you guys I'm new to this so I don't know if I put this in the right spot I'm working on my buddy's bike it's a 86fxr he was riding it and it suddenly died on him so he brought it to me and I started looking he has no spark so I tested wires to coil and they were good but coil was bad so I put a new coil in it and it still won't start it turns over and everything sounds good except I have no spark

 

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. Quite likely the ignition sender inside the camshaft cone has failed. I recommend you post in the Evo section, where you will find our experts on such things, they will be able to help sort you out.
