decel Poping after remap
I decided to trailer my 2007 FLHTCU to the dealer after installing V&H slip ons and a SE A/C myself to have the ECM re-mapped using the race tuner I supplied. Thetech spent 3 hours on the dyno using the SERT and computer. When I got home I took the bike for a ride and noticed and increase in power but I also noticedquite a bit of poping when decelarating. I haven't called the dealer back yet to discuss. Is this poping normal? and will it hurt the engine? Also, It seems that the idel is a little high after the recent tune. Regarding the SE A/C I have a black wire with a plug and cap hanging from the induction unit with no place to attach it to, It used to be attached to the original A/C back plate. The dealer said it's OK to let it just hang. There is got to be a better answer then that.
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks for the info. I went to the dealer yesterday but the tuner techdoes not work on week ends. Shop boss saidthey will call me and schedule another apt. to have bike retuned. I filled the bike up with fuel after the ride and noticed I lost 10 mpg after the re map, I was getting 40-44mpg now getting 34mpg.

That cable is for the active intake solenoid that comes on international models. I'd tie it up out of the way vs letting it flop around.
Sounds like your "tuner tech" has some more work to do. Idle should be 976 rpm with calibration 78, 159PZ004-A1, which is what he should have used.
