Brake/Cruise Control Problem

RE: Brake/Cruise Control Problem
I have a problem with my 1998 FXDL before.
I would be riding down the highway 45mph+ and my rear brake light would come on for no apparent reason. I would stop or slow down....the light would go off. Whenever I stopped....the brake light would function like it was suppose to.
The problem was.....the force of the wind was pushing the brake leaver in just enough to make the brake light go off. I put a gob of silicoln in there to make the sensor not so sensative.
This may or maynot help you....but I would investigate.
