Cannot retrieve original map from vci
This is my 1st attempt at using sepst, I've read that you can save the original map from the VCI, when I try to do this I get a message telling me I need an updated map and that this will erase my current map, my bike was dyno tuned but I'm getting flat spots and is running rough at times
I'd appreciate any help I can get with this
Thanks

The VCI keeps the last map through it - not the original map from the bike.
When you hook the VCI to the software, you want to load the map from the VCI.
Also, you could get a copy of your map from your dealer.
Are you getting a message that says updating the VCI will erase the map stored in it? The memory set aside for the map does not get erased when setting the VCI to record data, so I'm wondering if it would be erased if you update it.
