Have a Pcv with fm map.bike runs great but had the starting issue which was remedied by not waiting for the cel to go out, as suggested by fm and others. This always works when hot but sometimes does not when cold. The motor cranks but does not fire. Find it a lil embarrassing and troubling too. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do. Today took 3 tries to start from cold and the guys at the firehall thought that something was wrong my pride and joy......embarrassing !
Any thoughts?

 

Try and reinstall the map from scratch. I was having a strange issue with the bike not immediately turning off. Tried everything and was going to send my PCV back until FM recommended trying the map. Redid the map and reloaded the latest update and everything was fine. Either the update or the map file did not transfer correctly to the unit.
