Fly by wire throttle

Hello I have a 14 sgs and having trouble with the fly by wire throttle. Can someone tell me if the small connector next to the larger one that is after exiting the bars under the pod is used

If it is a two wire it is for Heated Grips.

you can tell as it is a white & black pair of wires
