I recently purchased a powervision and I like using the trip center feature. I went through a tank a tank of gas and the trip center said that I have used 4.635 gallons of fuel. But when I filled the tank I put in 5.3 gallons. I always fill up to the same spot on the tank so I'm wondering if the calculations in the powervision are accurate.

I see that there is a way to set the correction on the unit but I don't know how to use it. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Update the display with the correct information from the gas pump before you reset it. If you do this a few times it will correct the error.
