I'm in the process of purchasing a PV1 and us all Apple/Mac computer products. I have one laptop which is a windows based computer with Vista as the operating system. Will a PV1 work with Vista? If not I guess I'll purchase a used cheap windows based laptop which will work.

It will, and I have the similar problem, all apple products in the house and office. I have some tax programs and tuners that are windows based. Installed parallels for MAC and windows 8.1 on my air. no I can just switch between Mac OS and window OS effortlessly and all is good.
