Default Tuner needed?

FINALLY got a nice weekend in Jo Ja. Planning a long ride with 2/3 of my mods. Still waiting for my tuner but I have the breather and ,VH slip ons in place..I,m concerned about the bike running too lean and causing some damage. Other than pulling the plugs how can I tell if the bike is running too hot? It s a 2011 Dyna FXDC. Thanks..

It will run lean, I'd wait for the tuner and stage 1 download.

I drilled the baffle out to 1" on my stock exhaust (96" motor) and have a K&N a/c and bike has run great for years but I did install some Xied's which helped a little.

Pulling the plugs won't give you a good reading on a EFI bike, but I guarantee it's running too lean. It was too lean from the factory and now it's even more so. If you're going on a long ride I'd put the stock intake back on. Either that or put the stock pipes on.

It has already been said, but I will add my 2 cents. It was lean to begin with and with your mods will be too lean to ride for any length of time without damaging your engine. Wait for the tuner.
