Default Help with signal problem

Need Help, went for a ride today and the signals were working fine, then after a left turn the signal would not cancel, I pushed the left signal switch and it just kept flashing so I pressed the right and it switched over to the right signal. The problem now is the left won't work at all. I know the bulbs are finebecause when I activate the 4 ways all the lights work on that mode. Anyone run into a similar problem? Anything I can checkbefore I resortto going to the stealer?
Thanks

Default RE: Help with signal problem

I had a similar problem after installing rear LEDS. Try taking all the lightbulbs (I assume you have incandescent bulbs) out clean contacts, apply dielectric grease & reinstall. I know you said that your 4 ways worked so your thinking that the bulbs are ok - but the system is looking for a percise current draw if a bulb is not seated correctly it acts squirley. Hope it works for ya.

I went up to the dealer and it turned out to bea faultysignal control module. They are booked up for two weeks but got me in right away as it was a "safety issue", I thought that was pretty good service.
