Starter Sticking on 88 FXST Softail.... Can't figure out issue

Starter Sticking on 88 FXST Softail.... Can't figure out issue
I have a 1988 Harley Softail FXST... only one issue.. occasionally the starter will still on. Since my last case and fried my batter and a resister this is what I have done.
New Battery (Fully charged)
New Resister (in front of rear tire area)
New Key switch
Inspected wired to start button
Grease Solenoid
Grease Starter shaft
Checked wires.....
Once it was all together I had hoped the FULLY charged battery was the issue. After about 10 starts it had stuck again. This time we had a quick disconnect at the battery and didn't do any harm...
HELP.... Please!!!
