Good stuff. They did the same thing to me a couple weeks ago when I was there except there were about 200 of them. I could have reached out and touched them while still sitting on the bike. I've got a couple pictures in another thread.

 

Holy crap that was freakin bananas! Buffalo can be mean as shyt and in that situation you know they were pissed off! Luckily nobody got hurt.

Great times!!! Mixed feelings about the wildlife loop road. I assume this was it? we bypassed it since it was later in the day. Someone did mention that the buffalo usually skidaddle out of the area in the morning as more bikes show up and to show up early if we want to have the experience you guys did, again mixed feelings..kinda looks like riding in a pack of newbies.....

 

Here's a pic my lady took from the back seat in Yellowstone, in 2009. This beast was running along side of us until I accelerated out ahead.
