just picked up the GoPro "Chesty" mount and wanted to give it a try. Awesome day for a ride...

Shot in 720p/30fps, you can set the YouTube vid to 720p by hitting the settings button. I think the default setting is at 360p...? Anyway...........

WOW. The video quality is awesome. I think the lenses were of Carl Zeiss and must have a CCD sensor. The sampling rate was also quiet good.

 

cool video, I have the harness for my gopro but never thought of using it for a ride video. I'll have to try it this weekend. I bet it looks pretty good on a big screen.

Diggin the bike! Nice ride. The minute I heard DT I knew I'd like the vid!

 

Chest cam puts you in the drivers seat. I like the view!

Everything was great, just a personal note that too much of the bike, tank, speedo, etc. fill the view. If the camera was mounted just a little higher the picture would be filled with more scenery. But that's just my personal suggestion.

I really love ride videos.

 

I solved that "too much of the bike, tank, speedo, etc" issue with a helmet mount for the GoPro...
