Not sure what is happening. I went to get on my bike today and it won't turn over. I hear a sickly grinding sound and then it just fails to ignite.

This is a bit dosconerting as I just spent a lot of money on this bike. I just got this thing Tuesday. I have plenty of power as the high beam works fine. I checked the clutch cable to make sure it is fine. The gears engage fine. Won't start in with clutch depressed bike in neutral etc.

I am not a happy camper. This is very unsettling.

 

Which bike? Starter gear gone bad?

 

Doode, you posted this in Harley videos. Not a good place to get real time help with your issue. Their are several reasons why one will not start. You fail to mention which is not starting as well, your 250, or your TRD Taco. Start with the positive leads and go to the starter, then check all the grounds all the way through. It is likely something as simple as that. Good luck either way. I will not be following this thread!
