I went to Cuba in November and the thing that struck me was how many motorcycles were there and like everything else in Cuba, how many old bikes (pan heads) there were.

I was only there a day (to say I did it while it was still illegal mostly) but they love their bikes. I stumbled across a movie last year called Motorcycle Diaries (2004). It is the story of the then 23-year-old Ernesto Guevara, who would several years later become internationally known as the iconic Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara.

The film recounts the 1952 expedition, initially by motorcycle, across South America by Guevara and his friend Alberto Granado. As the adventure initially centered around youthful hedonism unfolds, Guevara discovers himself transformed by his observations on the life of the impoverished indigenous peasantry.

Guevara and Granado witness firsthand the injustices that the destitute face and are exposed to people and social classs they would have never encountered

Che was a thug and totalitarian. Plain and simple. He presided over Castro's labor camps and firing squads. He was against liberty for the people & was as devout a communist as you could find. His only rivals were Lenin and Stahlin. Dont make this ahole into some hero just because he rode a bike. Injustices??? Do a fact check on him.
