The guys on the street bikes rarely get away, but if you ride a SuperMoto or other off road capable bike, you should be able to quietly fade to black... can't stay on the paved roads and big honking touring bikes just don't do off-road very well.

That's kind of what I was thinking. That video showed how slow most HD's really are. I assume the cop was in a Crown Vic. They are dogs, especially on the bottom end. At least my '02 is along with every other one in our fleet.

I'm inclined to say that might be Ferndale Police Department in Michigan. Livernois was mentioned as well as Outer Drive early in the chase which are both west side of Detroit. At the end of the chase the LEO says he is running on Linsdale. That would make the chase about 7 miles from what looks like 8 mile road, west bound where it started in Ferndale.
