Default A jaunt to a Nuclear reactor

Just a drive by trying to outrun a stray neutron or two!

Nice ride! I live in Fort Pierce and make that same run in reverse at least twice a month. If you ever want to hook up and ride shoot me a message. I like running West around the lake this time of year. It's cool seeing other bikers from my neck of the woods.

Thanks for the tip on where it was. Luckily I live in a state without any nulear reactors, so I am not sure what they would look like. It did look like a great ride.

Yup, that's a nice ride on Hutchinson Island.

Attached is a picture of my 2010 Road King in February 2010 with the Port St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant in the background.

WOW.................

I didn't recognize any of the road, ofcourse its been 30 yrs since I was there. Worked on Unit #2 when it was built. Welded the primary cooling water into the reactor.
There was nothing but mosquitoes on the road back then
Rode that road everyday for over a year on my Sturgis, easy to beat the traffic.

is the Jetty Bar still at the north end of the island? Spent quite a few coins in that place and met some friendly young ladies too............hehe

Thanks for the trip down memory lane

No. In ND the plutonium is in the ground on the warheads.

Monticello. between St Cloud & the Cities on I94, is my 'home plant" Next time I dodge the nuetrons is the big outage scheduled the fall of '12.
