Oops. Let's hope the owner of the pickup is an understanding gearhead...

Here's another fun one from around my way a couple years back. On the plus side, I'm betting the guy had a trailer with him to put the bike back on.

That brings back memories of Laconia Bike Week 1994. I was in the line heading from Laconia to Weirs Beach and traffic was inching along in the 95' heat.
There was a guy a couple of bike lengths in front of me is smoking his rear tire. All of a sudden, while smoking his tire, he loses control and vears 90' left across the southbound lane. Some how he missed hitting the riders heading ( at speed ) into Laconia. He goes off the road and dead center into a makeshift hotdog stand. Saw horses, plywood, a blue tarp and hotrdogs go flying into the air from the collision. Bottles of coke and the hotdog cooker are on the ground. Well no one got hurt, but the hotdog stand owner is yelling at the rider saying, " you wiped me out! My stand is destroyed" and so on. The burnout artist is standing there hanging his head looking like a horses' azz. Yeah, I had to laugh at that one.
