And the camera is on the back of the bike WHY???

 

Yeah I dont get it why put the camera backwards?

 

If I want to see behind me I use the mirrors.

 

I do not know why the camera is backwards. Maybe it might have something to do with looking at sky? Anyhow, this type of camera system is pretty good in as much as you can run multiple cameras as well as sensors. With the dash cam software you can integrate sensors such as length sensor to see what your suspension is doing under some controlled conditions as well as engine management recording. You can use an accelerometer (An accelerometer is a device that measures the vibration, or acceleration of motion of a structure)to measure transmitted shock from the axle to the frame, One could tune shock internals for best results. Integrate GPS with the data acquisition and the camera and all can see the location, MPH, RPM, where on the controlled roadway the unit exactly is. One more step is to triangulate two cameras and phase it on the data recorder with GPS and you can tell exactly where you are with known check points within a few inches.

165 on 2 wheels is the fastest I've been going......278 is insane fast.....but in my defense I was lidless with no eye protection....
