I took the bike out of the shop so I could ride it this weekend but with winter approaching...more mods and paint over the winter..Can't wait for next spring and we haven't even had our first snowflake.

you did the video right man
I see way too many vids where the person just fires up the bike and cranks on it like theres no tomorrow
you instead talked about what you did to the bike which is great

nice ride though and by the way I have a few close friends that would love that seat O.o

Excellent. I REALLY like that 48. Good job going w/ the Nightster tank...that peanut was the only "draw back" to the bike. Made it useful only really as a bar hopper. Fantastic job man. Would love to see the results of your planned winter mods as well.

Way to Go,

@ Nubz & USMA thanks for the props! Winter mods include progressive 430 shocks, LED oil dipstick/level stick, Shaving the rear turn signals and moving them closer, Biltwell 8" chubby bars, replacing derby & timing covers with wrinkle black and engraved Marine Corps EGA's, the tank will have a detachable 3D fiberglass cover that will be of a skeleton face and head custom airbrushed with stretched leather over it with real spikes and chains for piercings. The piece will have leather buckles that hold it in place. Going in for a complete mural painting from tin to tin in March. The seat was an expensive mod - I originally purchased a LaRosa bobber seat with mini shocks, the 48 is so tightly packed together it would have been impossible getting them on - the other option was to lay them forward about 70 degrees and that looked stupid - I then switched to springs but that still had the seat up to high which caused it to look like an ejection seat - the rubber stumps have stops inside them that allow for spring and bounce but the seat doesn't collapse and hit the fiberglass - the upholstry job was costly because the edge cut holes are all hand cut out and stitched, the seat also has 2 layers of foam and gel inside it. Thanks for listening lol
