At this bike night 3 competed. Typically we have 3-4 bikes that do a burn out.

Well, Marisa Miller did a burnout with her own bike. It right on the H-D official webpage. There is even a short documentary video there about her burnout. So, if it's good enough for a hot babe like Marisa Miller and her bike and it's condoned by H-D, well then gosh darn that's good enough for me. LOL.
Seriously though, the videos on H-D's site, featuring MM are pretty dang cool, for those of you that haven't seen 'em yet.

I'm more into the burnout without a wall in front of you. I get the whole burnout pit for safety and ease, but that takes no skill. You just run into the wall and smoke the tire. I find it much cooler to see a guy do a burnout in the middle of a parking lot holding the brake. No offense on the video, just sayin'. It does look like a good turn out at the bike night.

That's not as bad as I thought, so there are only 2-3 who will be SOL regarding their rear tire?

Personally, I would find it much more interesting to see a holeshot contest. Bike would be at a dead stop (you could even use a water box like in the drags) and then they could light them up and the winner would be the one with the longest rubber mark. No front breaking allowed...

I agree! I'd even consider entering that one. Hell - I do holeshots just for fun regularly. Kinda pi$$es off the wife when I do them on her bike though.
