Full Throttle has some sturdy areas to ride out the storm. I didn't help our bikes but I could have been caught in worse places.

I was on the TrueTV Full Throttle show. The storm brought me 10 seconds of fame along with the $4000.00 in damage! lol

 

I was at Katmandu at the time, lucky I heard the tornado warning siren from the school and headed down to the onsite bar just before the hail started. Believe it or not, but my bike did not get any damage because it was under a half cover that was a little too small so it was stretched really tight. The hail bounced off it. Every windshield in the campground that was not covered was broken.

 

It's good to know that insurance companies not saying act of God and not paying up. Me and the family are going in 2012. I'm going to buy the biggest tent walmart carries and pull my bike inside it if I have too.

 

off topic but a coupel years back a lighting strike put a tree on top of my truck, the insurance company refused to pay as the ydeemed it an act of god, i took them to court and asked the judge to order them to prove beyond a doubt the god exisits as they are using "an act of god" to refuse paying for damages caused to my fully insured vehicle. and the judge rulled they either had to pay out for the damages or prove beyond a doubt "god " exisits. they paid for the damages changed there policy and refused to renew my truck insureance LOL at renewal time

 

They wouldn't had to renew it for me, I would've dropped them over that. Good going on your part.

 

Scary, last time I seen hail like that, a tornado followed and killed 72 people. Edmonton AB.

 

I missed the storm as I left the day before... Some of my friends stayed on for an extra day and they got hit pretty good.
