Still remember the first time I saw Easy Rider. -I wanna be like them!
Then I was a 13 years old kid. Today 53 and still riding. But I have kept away from them rednecks and still have not been shoot.

The longer we wait to do some sort of similar ride, the more things are changing and will never be the same. Much of Billy and Capt America's ride route has changed, but based on another thread I was on, much is the same. Still, with civilization encroaching the way it is, it ain't gonna be the same much longer. Me? I want to do a similar ride, but might be runnin outta time. Old man time waits on noone.

Ya, that brought back the memories - I'd say it was 'cool' but then I'd be 'selling out'. It was 'far out dudes!'

This movie never gets old, loved the insight this gave to one of my favorits.

I remember seeing easy rider for the first time when I was 16, I'm 56 now. Anyone rememer the movie that played with it, wasn't it called Wild In The Streets.

haven't watched the documentary links yet, but if you get the DVD one of the bonus features is to watch it with Dennis Hopper doing a narrative over top of it thruout the whole movie. Pretty interesting.

Damn, I think you're right on......I was 15 when I first saw it....had to have that Steppenwolf album after that.....lol
