That was one tough gal, did you notice the first thing she looked for after stopping rolling around was her bike? Glad to hear she is ok. I have put a warning sticker on all my helmits not to remove in case of accident. Another step of directing comon sence to dummies we are surounded by.

It was not her fault that's for sure, but it did look like she was going alittle fast for the surrounding conditions.

I don't think she was going too fast, at least she didn't seem to be closing very quickly on the car in front of her.

If that had happened anyplace in NY State the cops would have a field day with that tape. Its illegal to use a handheld phone in a moving cage.

Glad she's all right, its always a shame when anyone gets hurt, but its worse when its caused by outright stupidity. I "almost" wish that someone there didn't try to break that helmet cam over that idiots head.

You know to me it seems like, #1 the dude in the car hit his brakes for no apparent reason. and #2 she seemed like she is kind of a newbie for just staying the course. I know things can happen in a matter of milliseconds but I think I would have tried to turn to the left and maybe avoid the car, since nobody was behind him in the diamond lane. To me it looked like she just tried to slow down and thought she could squeeze thru the 2 cars. imo

But damn, that is crazy, that dude should be locked up for driving like that!

Just think if all bikers had on helmet cams... we could prove how STUPID some motorists actually are.
Hope she was alright.

That's a damn good idea. Cameras built into all motorcycle helmets... with a DVD recorder. I'd buy one.
They make a continuous loop video recording devise for cars. It records the last 30 seconds when something violent occurs like an accident. Now that would be a money maker for a helmet for sure. And it might just help prove your innocence.
