Kind of a cheesy video I made for me and my g/f. This was our first long trip on the RKC back in September

The BRP is 469 miles long. Fall is probably the most popular time to visit because of the changing leaves. The colors are amazing. We were there in early Sept so it was still mostly green. Beautiful no matter what time of the year it is though.

hey,that wasnt too cheesy,i liked the end when she said uh oh i was recording all that,,,glad i aint the only one that does that,blues traveler ,,good choice for your song too,,brp is great,when its hot in the summer all i wanna do is get up the mountain to the coolness,hope you had a chance to get off the path and foot it to some of the waterfalls,its a great place to ride and camp,,

Just wanted to add one thing to this thread...
We stayed at the Village Inn in Blowing Rock, NC during this trip. There are a few pics in the video from around the hotel. I highly recommend it to any of you considering a trip to the area.
It was reasonably priced and the accomodations were excellent. It is only a few minutes from the BRP. With a comfy king sized bed, HD flat screen tv, and a private hot tub out back with a view of the creek it was absolutely perfect for a getaway. There was nothing like soaking in that hot tub after logging a couple of hundred miles each day in the cool mountain air.
Can't wait to go back next fall.
