Definitely European so KPH. Beer signs on the bar in the opening sequence were European brands.

...272 kmph = 163 mph...that's still pretty fast...now you know why they call those crotch bikes donorcycles!

Definitly KMH.. as has been pointed out already~ That's not really fast for some of these crotch rockets~ A few years back the major jap companies came to an areement to limit all stock bikes to 186mph max~ Although there are ways around these limits such as the infamous TRE (Timing Retard Eliminator) and a good fuel managment system to remap and get around the stock ECU~ Not to memtion addin a NOS bottle or even goin to a full blown turbo boost~ I've seen some of these bike, particularly the turboed ones, makin up to 300hp at the rear wheel! When I had my Hayabusa I had actually takin it up into the 180's mph on a quiet country road~ That bike rode so smooth, you wouldn't even know you was goin that fast~ Well.. at least until you attempt to sit up out of the tuck!
Seen the followingon another forum~ I'm pretty sure it's still a concept, but damn! No adays I couldn't even imagine tryin to ride this thing~ The rider would have to be laid out on this bike at all times! Looks like it would cut through the air at a very fast rate of speed though... [sm=escape.gif]

Schloesser+Jever Beer signs plus the yellow street signs = Germany, hence KM/h. Speedo reading quite possible, look at the cars when they slow down to 100 km/h (62 mpH) which is the speed limit on 2-lane countryroads.

KPH, either way idiots like this continue to push the limit until something goes wrong which possibly involves injuring others, I did see the speedo at 277 momentarily at roughly 1:30 into the video. Good Luck donors.
