When I was a kid, this wouldn't have happened. You were taught (one way or another) that was unacceptable behavior. Parents weren't always your best friend -- sometimes they kept society safe from you.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
BTW...my parents being hard on my ***, making me mind, making me something instead of a worthless waste of spe*m and snapping me to when I needed it is the best thing they could have done for me. It wasn't abuse, it wasn't mean...it was love.
My parents are and have always been my best friends [my wife holds spot #1]

AS for my kids, (10&11) they are aware I have never hit them - but I could if they merit it - this video is staged and they are actors - If not, we've just found a poster child for the worlds newest web sight: "kid get's his butt smacked/repetedly/for failing to act human/by/PI$$ED of dad.org"
