Some call that Moonshiners 28 I believe. And if you continue past Franklin towards Highlights there's some great waterfalls.
I believe it goes to War Woman rd in Ga.

I had the name Helbender come to mind for 28. I agree it is a great ride of many in the area.

Truth be told it's a little too straight for my tastes, but certainly a better option than the interstate and worth doing at least once for sure.
