Default The dragons tail in Western NC

On hwy 129 which crosses the borders of NC and Tenn you will find an 11 mile stretch of hwy with 318 curves, on the weekend you will find hundreds of bikes and this makes for some great kodak moments.

Sucks???? Hardly! That is one sweet ride of twistyies and you can depart the Dragon and ride the Cherola (?sp) Skyway for a longer and gorgeous ride! Did it on the way back from Rolling Thunder this year...on an Ultra!

WoW see sparks fly.
(OUCH) You supposed to stay in the saddle dude.

I rode dragons tail on my 05 WideGlide, with my
woman holding on tight, and luggage stacked up
on the rear fender. I swerved over the double-yellow
on one curve and a big dumptruck was coming around
in the opposite direction EEEKKKKKK (^&$%$)
Good thing I was going slow

Maybe we are not looking at the same picture. I do not care how pretty, relaxing, exhilarating, fun, etc… it is. If you lose it in a corner and wreck your bike “That SUCKS!!”

I want to know what happened w/ the rest of his wreck! Did the bike go flying, catch a gaurdrail, what? And how tore up was he?

I can't wait to get over there. I have so much already planned that it may be spring before I get to, but we'll see. Thanks for sharin' the pics.
