I just bought this 2015 street 500 from a family friend for my wife. Was informed that it sat behind a barn for 6 month-1 year. Bought new battery and replaced. Turned key to ignition on and no fuel pump sound, no relay sound, no lights, no power at gauge. Replaced main fuse and checked all other fuses. And still same result. Not sure whats going on. Any susgestions?
Check your ground wire. battery is a pain in the but to change on them
Thanks for the advice. I did check the connections. Everything is good and tight.
*UPDATE*
So i have found that when i turn the key, right before it hits the accessory position, i will get power to the rear light and gauge will power up, but nothing else. No front lights or turn signals, no horn, no power at any of the fuses and it will not start still.
I ordered a new ignition switch from the dealership. Waiting on that to arrive and update this once it gets replaced
You really need to invest in a simple tool to read codes. You can go broke parts changing Ghost. When reading the codes often can point you to the problem.
If you have problems with starting, the first thing you need to do is replace the battery with a new, fully charged one. Even though your current one may show good voltage in volts, it may be faulty. Additionally, it is worth checking the spark plugs, because sometimes they are also a problem.
If you do not have one already get the HD service manual for it. It will not be long and HD will not even try to get you one. Same thing is already happening With some of the tools you need to work on it . And some parts.

Just wanted to let you and the forum know that HD nor Haines, nor any other publicist currently has a printed manual for the Street 500/750. The only place you can "look" at a manual for these bikes is online even though it has been nearly 10 years (9) since their appearance at the dealerships. However, you can print pages from the online manual. Here is the link: https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson....31013!!1!21437
