Update to last post: At 50mph check engine light come on and acceleration loss
After buying and downloading a service manual and adjusting clutch cable to specs and adjusting throttle and idle cables my last issue went away. now I can cruise at 45 mph no problem. After shifting into 5th gear (owners manual says to shift into 5th at 45mph) it bogs down and check engine light comes on. Acceleration is very minimal. After slowing check engine light goes off and it rides without any issues. Do I need more clutch, throttle, and idle cable adjustments or something else?

Definitely check the codes out. Otherwise we are just guessing at the problem. The code may tell you it's an injector issue or miss on one cylinder or the other.
Last spring on another forum we had three separate threads about Street 750's with similar sounding problems. Each of the three was running on only one cylinder, so the xg375 just ran out of guts at 45mph, but the check engine light went out when they slowed down. IIRC, the causes were various plug, plug wire and injector issues causing a dead cylinder.
