how do you jump start a Street 750?
dont have the bike here to look at, died today & left it at neighbor's house.
I know on the regular bikes, hook ground to the frame, and the hot cable to the bolt on top of the starter.
just want to make sure I take the right tools with me to get it started back up.
i had a HD brand battery tender on it, and it killed the battery. knew that tender had been acting funky, but totally killing a battery is a new one for me.

Troof. I could not get it to jump.
went back when my neighbor was available.
phillips to take the seat off.
stand behind the bike, hold bike with knees.
feed seat strap around to get some slack
put both hands under snout of seat and pull back with alot more effort than you expect.
try again
try again
finally get seat off, there is a rubber cover over the started solenoid.
gas side is hot post, clutch side is the starter.
I had a charger/booster/jumpbox which had to "see" the voltage before it would go into "jump mode" so I put the booster cable in the hot post, then hit the starter button.
theoretically, the boost juice would have traveled across the solenoid and started the bike.
and if you hit the clutch side of the solenoid with actual jumper cables, it should have turned right over.
anyways, you can see the positive post of the battery if you dig around, but you can't get to it
here is a pic in case some body needs it in the future.
this pic is from the rear of the bike, looking forward.

Did it turnover? If not try turning your engine kill switch by your right grip off and on a couple of times in case there is any corrosion in the switch. Not sure if you are telling us how to do it in the future or if you are still having problems. Lots of jump start your Harley vids on you tube if you still need help figuring it out.

just showing where the parts are.
my battery was DEAD, so it would not jump with my jump box.
with jump cables, it "should" have started.
i just took it to the dealer, let them figure out. their engineers buried the battery in there.
Street 750/500 bikes have NOTHING in common with Harley's except HD Logo & Dunlop tires with HD on them.

Did you have to remove a cover? The positive terminal is just right there on top? I'm about to go look at my 500 Street again, and I was thinking it might be about the same.
I took the seat off a week or two ago, and I couldn't make heads or tails of anything.
I was going to put it in storage since I'm in an apartment to put it on a trickle charger, but I think I realized there's probably no electrical outlet in those.
