500 was used by the local Harley dealer when my wife took the class
I assume most use the 500
I understand harley gives them a deal
Many will buy and ride what they learned on

I see a couple of references to getting a good deal on the purchase of a new street. I'm ready to buy a 16' 750 and was hoping to get an idea of what others are paying before I get hosed by my local dealer. Compared with any other vehicle/piece of equipment I've purchased HD pricing seems to be a huge secret. Feel free to PM if you don't want to post openly.
Thanks in advance

I think we paid around 7K(Retail was 7650 i think)
You can do a search online to tell you dealer cost
It isn't that secret even though the dealer may want it secret

Thanks for the reply.
I pulled the trigger today, now just waiting to hear when they'll have it in.

Congrats, Fadeintoblue! Enjoy! The Street riders are not a big community, but everyone I know who has a Street seems to be loving it!

Did you take delivery on Friday? Have you had opportunity to ride yet?

Delivered with 3 miles on the odometer. Really like the bike, need to adjust the shifter up a little,my fat foot gets stuck under it. Also ordered some mirror extenders, can't see sh*t behind me.
Also need something for small storage. Anyone find any good solutions? Really don't want the hd tank bag or saddlebags.

I use a small handlebar bag, zip tied to the rear fender bracket on one side. Just big enough for puck, hairbrush, a few papers. I may switch to a swing arm bag so I can carry a little more
