Just wanted to make sure it could hold its own on the freeway. That sounds just fine! I am very excited to start riding. Thanks, Larry.

If you don't add a windshield (wife didn't), you may want to consider a full face helmet for highway riding

I'm with you on that one. Even with a full-face I am all about the windshield. I sat an extra hour waiting for them to throw it in, as I was at the top of what I could spend and I refused to buy the bike without a windshield. I had to order it though, so it's coming.

I bought one of these for my wife and she loves it. I installed the H-D quick release windshield and would recommend it. It not only goes on/off quickly but you can adjust the height just as fast. She hasn't had it out on the freeway yet, but hopefully soon.

I don't think mine is going to be quick release. I think it's whatever the HD site has for building the 750 on their website. That's what the dealer had on other Street bikes and I believe that's what they ordered me. I had to practically cry for them to throw it in. Haven't had much riding time in yet either, but this weekend I am re-doing the class (on the Street) and will be inquiring about the windshield (order). I've already scheduled a long weekend in Ocala mid-November with the FL Crew. Get her riding, I can use another female Street rider in FL

We used to live in Englewood (close to Boca) but moved to Bradenton. We ride with a group that has 6-7 female riders and get down to Port Charlotte-Punta Gorda area once in a while. We are planning on doing the Port Charlotte teddy bear run. Let me know if you would like to join us.

I've noticed you have posts in The Florida Crew. Will you and your wife be joining the Ocala Rally this year? I've been working all year for this. Got endorsed in April, have been on a manual 250 cc as a daily rider, but was feeling too inexperienced with the gears as the first motorcycle purchase was an 883 I never felt comfortable on. I finally bit the bullet with the Street 2 weeks ago and will be taking a refresher course this weekend on the Street at my Harley dealership. I'm hoping daily practice the next two weeks with gears and my 6 months of daily experience already will have me ready for the rally. I booked my room two months ago. Even if you can't make the whole weekend, maybe you two can come in for Saturday for one of the rides?
