Default Upgrades Have Arrived

I picked up some parts and pieces off of Free Spirits and I thought I would share with you all to show that there are parts out there, if you look hard enough. Excited to say the least. I'll be going over all of this stuff on my youtube channel, if anyone is interested.

Very interested in seeing the final product. Looks like a fork brace is in the picture. I put a SE one from the Sportster. It was the correct spread but the diameter of the clamp was .030 to big. A typical street sign is .030 so a cut a piece off of one that I just happened to have and polished it up. Worked great but the HD SE fork brace weighs a ton.

I like that air breather also.

I like the flat-track motif. The idea of being able to take a bike on and off road has always appealed to me.

Thanks guys. Jake @ Progressive has hooked me up with a set of 970's that I'm going to make work. The rear end of the bike below, is kinda what I'm going after. I still want to go with at least a 16" rear tire and convert it over to a chain drive. The guys over at 1 Wheel Revolution have some prototype parts being replicated that I'm hoping I'll be able to get my hand on, rather than trying to make something work.

Ya the trees and fork brace are billet aluminium and light in comparison to the stock setup.

Pulled the old trees off and fitted the new ones yesterday

and I tore down the forks and rebuilt them with new guts and a dampening valve.

Hopefully I'll see the new rear shocks and the pipe in a couple of weeks. The next biggest hurdle is switching out the rims on the bike and eliminating the compensator on the bike and converting it over to a chain drive.

I was thinking to myself that the Street 750 needs a tank lift. AmIrite? We propped it up 3.5" below. Ah who am I kidding, you all still think it's a girls bike, lol

Here's the tank lift bracket that I came up with. I'll probably end up building another one, but this gives you an idea as to what needs to be done.
