MANY pics on the item listing!
This is a 2010 Harley Davidson Sportster Forty Eight. It only has 544 miles on it!!! This bike is MINT with ZERO damage, scratches, or defects. Original purchase date was September 17th, 2010 so there is almost the entire warranty left on it that you would get from HD. The reason why I'm selling it is because someone hit me in my regular vehicle that I owned outright and totaled it out....and I just bought a brand new truck to replace it and cannot afford both payments! I'm selling it for what I owe and will not make a dime off of it!
As you can see from the pictures everything that has been removed/replaced on the bike I still have and is all in perfect working order and no cosmetic damage as well. If the buyer wishes to take those parts with them, that's fine. I've replaced the stock bars with 28" black drag bars with a 4.5" pull back. Also, I purchased a tank lift kit that raises the tank up and allows for all the wiring above the motor to be tucked into the tank tunnel. Makes the bike look very mean and gives it a TOTALLY different stance and look. With the tank lift I was able to relocate the ignition switch to the other side of the bike in the center of the motor...also gives it a nice cleaned up look. I've replaced BOTH chrome inspection cover and derby cover with stock HD black ones to match the motor and chain case.
It also has a stage II Ness Big Sucker intake on it that has been used for less than 100 miles! The pipes are Santee L.A.F. chromed with black wrap. Pipes are un-baffled so they indeed are nice and loud with a "throaty" sound. I removed the stock license plate bracket and bought my own that has a 40's style Ford taillight that does running and brake in one....PLUS the light is clear on the bottom so it shines down onto the plate for legal purposes. The pegs are billet alum. and are machined into a "brass knuckle" style. I do have the stock ones as well if you look in the pictures. I've had the pipes and intake on for such a little amount of time I have not had the bike re-tuned. It runs fine currently, but for performance purposes you could have it re-mapped and tuned if you wish.
Brakes and tires are pretty much new as you may expect with the mileage. Bike has NEVER seen rain, been laid down, tipped over whatsoever! Clean title and it was purchased from a dealership with me being the only owner. It is garage kept, and cleaned with HD cleaner before every ride. Whoever wins the bike, I will include the passenger Phantom pad (see pictures), clear (night) riding glasses, and a "turtle shell" flat black helmet.
I also have the bike advertised locally, so I reserve the right to end auction at any time. I'm in the Denver, CO area and if there are any locals who are SERIOUSLY interested, I'm more than happy to show you the bike. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges outside the Denver area. They are also responsible for scheduling the shipping. There will be a required $500 deposit paid within 24 hours of winning auction, with the remainder due withing 4 days (pending it's not a weekend). The winning person will call me in person to set up payment methods and any other details, also within 24 hours.....
I've reduced the price more aggressively! Please note that this bike has only 544 miles on it and is basically brand new! All stock parts come with the purchase of bike.
Any questions-please do not hesitate to email me. I get emails 24 hours a day on my phone so I will get back to you as soon as I can! Thanks.
