117" in my trike
Got the 117" beast fired up today, still working through a minor issue but I did get it out for a 10 miles ride. All I got the say is this engine has some stump pulling torque!!!!!!!
I can only imagine how it will really run once I get it broke in.........
Engine build
117" Axtell cylinders and psitons
Tman bottom end balanced, trued, welded & pluged SE Flywheels (.0001 runout)
Tman stage 2 Pro touring headwork (10.2 comp) with comp releases
Bob Wood TW7H cam
Stock 50mm TBW worked by HPI to 54mm
SE 5.3 injectors
I also installed the following
Barnett Carbon fiber plus 1 clutch pack with AIM variable clutch plate
SE compensator kit

"I'm jealous" I just ordered the SE255 cams & FM headers for mine.
Glade to hear your up and running.

Are you going to have time to do a few data runs today on that last update? I have this funny feeling when you do that the rear popping will subside unless you found the air leak this morning.
I'm not playing "HOBIC" today so give me a jingle after a few miles.
For the rest of you...that would be

Be careful with that 117" motor. The idea of wheelie bars is not too far fetched. Our trike has a souped up 95ci and our son lifted the front end of it on one of the city streets around here and he didn't plan on doing it when it happened. I can't imagine how much torque that 117" will put out. It must be awesome.
When are you going to start pulling a semi trailer with the thing. Just hook it to an Allied Van Lines trailer and you will be all set, including the paint color. Move over Peterbilt here comes FLTR2000TRIKE!
Meaning no affence, just giving you a hard time. haha
