Default Sportster Trike Kit?

My dad just purchased a 2005 Sportster 1200 and he wants a trike kit for it. I have no clue who makes one for it. So I go to the experts. He'd like to get a nice one. Not a cheap looking kit. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

I think we can all agree, this is definitely a "chick bike". I don't have any details but saw the trike at a local dealer. The trike kit was top notch.

I have opinion on previously noted Santiago kit. Before I bought my Frankenstein kit a year ago, I called Santiago. They would not tell me were I could purchase any replacement parts (bearings, etc). They told me I would have to purchase parts through them. Frankenstein told me all interal parts are Ford and can be purchased at a Ford dealer. I would not purchase a trike kit from anyone who will not tell me were I can purchase replacement parts in the future. Also found that the Frankenstein rear end is higher than others, however the others charge you about $1,400 for a swingarm. I believe Frankenstein sells swing arm with exchange for $250. Consider price of entire kit, not just the rear end. It is over built. I am very satisfied with the Frankenstein kit.

I did the Frankenstein kit for my wifes scoot. Great people to work with. The kit was easy to do with basic shop tools, nothing special. You do need a shop manual. We did have a problem with the neck lock in the tree stem, but they paid to have the tree shipped back to them, fixed the problem and turned it around in 4 days. If you check the pricing, it is the best deal for your money. As previously stated, all parts are available from your local auto parts store.

After all the comments and some of my own research he decided to go with the frankenstein kit also. I believe it's the best looking and built kit out there. I'll keep y'all posted when it comes in and I put it on. Thanks for all your responses. It was a tremendous help.
