As a footnote, a couple weeks ago we went to a place where the bikes would be out of our sight for a while. The wife tried to lock the front end and it wouldn't lock. I called Frankenstein on monday morning and talked to the machinist and he told me that he had cut the groove in the stem of the tree too narrow on a few stems, and thought that he had gotten them all out of the system. Mine evidently slipped through the system. He told me to take the tree back off and send it to them, shipping paid, and he would fix it. I got it back off, shipped it to them and they had it back to us inside of last week, and I put it back on this morning. Lock worked. R&R was about two hours, so it wasn't much of a hassle. That was great customer relations. There was no blame game and everyone is happy.
