I just bought a Toy Carrier Trailer!

Back to the trailer
I had one of those trailers stored and had a chance to look it over real good. The shell is made overseas in a mould. It is made of some kind of plastic material. Unless the material is UV stabilized, a coat of protective paint like those found (Awlgrip) on yachts et. Al.
I backed it up into my yard and handled great. There are stabilizers on it when parked. The lid has those gas shocks to help you get it up and hold it up. I see there is a tent option, cool! It works for those without a garage and the "Tailgate" is removable and set aside to unload. I did not drive this unit on the street but the owner said he did not notice it behind his PU nor did he think there was a noticeable decrease in gas mileage. Great protection and added storage.
I thought the components and workmanship were the best they could be. If this type of trailer is needed than I can personally say this is a top choice.
I wish I has something to say controversial but in this case I have nothing.

I think that's an awesome little trailer..keeps the bike protected during the trip so no "dings 'n chips" from road debris.
And that price...WOW!
As for the "trailer means you're a poser" stuff that goes on...why does it bother you when someone trailers? As some of us get older, get married....we aren't up for the lone wolf rough it out yourself trips anymore. Yay for you if you still do. Yeah it's fun. I've gone from shoreline CT to the north border of NH just 3 miles shy of the Canadian border..and back to CT.....in 1 day...and I've gone from CT to ME and back in 1 day...but that was in my youth, and I wouldn't want to do it now in my mid 40's with a bad back. My wife...she grew up on Harleys since she was old enough to touch the pegs, but now that she's in her 40's...she doesn't like long hauls anymore...including long trips on the highway. This summer we hope to head up to NH and VT...to ride in the White Mountains and other areas. I want to enjoy those rides and that breathtaking scenery with her on my back. Trailering my FXDB will allow that to happen.
Being able to spend quality time with my wife is what counts, we both love riding, bodies just can't take the extreme anymore, and if trailering the bike allows us to do stuff together such as enjoy the gorgeous mountain rides of NH and VT...so be it!

Cadman's comments have been removed. Please move on without him.
Next time some jerk starts acting this way, please notify a moderator. There was no reason for this to go on.
For the record, I have a wonderful niece in her late 30s who suffers from fibromyalgia. It's a very insidious disease that causes incredible pain and there isn't much help for it.
