I was told by a Tech at the dealership that '98 thru '08 sidecar mounts are the same and will require no modification to mount on '98 thru '08 touring frames.

If I did pay I don't remember and no I do not get the publication......and that site rock as far as information is concerned. Lonnie and a few other on there know what they are talking about.

Default Sidecar

The $40.00 you paid is for the publication and web site but to just join the forum it's free. Lots of great info there and great people to help you.

Thanks guys. I did buy the sidecar, and the previous owner had it on his 1998 electraglide... he said that all the 84 mounts worked except The upper front frame mount. He said he orderedon piece of clamp and made the 84 mount work on his bike. He showed me how it fit on his bike, and its all good. Well, I decided to buy a 1999 electraglide to make sure it all works... besides, I wanted a second bike. Also, a bonus is that the 99 I bought is the same color as the sidecar! Thanks again to all those who replied, I'll be setting it all up within the next couple weeks.

Little late but fyi got a 89 sidecar on 2007 road king and was on a 2000 ultra, the only issues was the master cylender had to be change to the sidecar style and on the original 89 it was the standard rear master cyclender, the actual sidecar bolted up without much of a issue the lower front mount is tough to get on is all

OK guys, I got the sidecar mounted and took it for its maiden voyage.... got tons of looks and smiles from people, especially since I had my little girl in it riding alongside me! My daughter loves it and calls it "her sidecar"! So fun! Its great to experience riding the Harley with her
