2 weeks ago I rode over to Maggie Valley NC to meet some buddies of mine and attend the Trike Talk meet n greet. There is some 6% grade on I26 going north towards Ashville NC from Spartansburg SC. I got a good feel for how strong my engine is, I was able to pull a 6% grade in 6th gear all the way to the top and still had a little throttle left.

The torque my engine has is awesome.....

Fuel mileage wasnt so good, I averaged around 28mpg. I meet up with Mr Wizard and showed him my TTS map. I sent it to him after that weekend and he made some changes to my AFRs and this pat week I got 33.5 mpg

 

Wow, I'm jealous. So now you have some of your gas mileage back, will make your trips more enjoyable. What is it like to be cruising along with an engine just idling most of the time?

Roll on throttle response in 6th gear @ 60 is like 5th gear @ 60....It is sweeettttttttt!!!

Sounds like you hit on the perfect combination, I'm envious. Wish the MoCo would get a clue and put some power in the Triglide.
