Default Windshields?

I just finished reading through these posts from a year ago............
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/hacke...-and-rain.html

Thought I'd find out if anyone has been experimenting with any new style, low-cut windshields? Some that come to mind are Cee Bailey, Klock Werks, even H-D, etc. Many riders have been raving about the curvature effect from the Klock Werks shields.
I'd like to have a good touring windshield where I can see over it and there is minimal wind noise and buffeting. I usually wear a half helmet with Wiley X goggles. In the rain I wear the H-D "System" helmet. Just don't like having to wipe rain from windshield and face shield.

I briefly had a 10" Clearview recurve on the Triglide when I 1st got it. I didn't have any problems with it but the wife was getting hammered pretty hard by buffeting so I switched back to the stock windshield. I put the Clearview on my 06 Ultra because the wife and I don't put 500 mile days together on it. If we're going to go on a long trip I'm riding the Trike.

I’m sort of torn…I love the looks of the 10” windshield but like the protection that the stock windshield provides here in bug country!

Ya know that old saying: ”Some days you’re the windshield and some days you’re the bug”…I don’t want to be either!

I like the stock windshield height. Kicks the bugs way over my head!

I'm just using the stock size slightly tinted windshield. As stated, it fights the bugs away. Plus, I'm so damn short I cannot see over the windshield anyway! LOL

I'm short also so I most always look through the windshield. I do like the looks of a shorter windshield but I'm not interested in bugs hitting me in the face.

My 8.5" KW works well w/my 5'11" frame. Throws everything over my head, but the occasional "side-swipe" bug.

I've looked at the Cee Baileys and Klock Werks with the funky curves. They say the curvature causes the front end to be pushed down at 70 mph. Would anyone really want that effect on a trike with already having a stabilizer?
I used the shorty black shield on my RG during hot summer months. Got a nice breeze in the face but never any bugs. Good deflection effect with shark-nose fairing and shorty shield. This is what I'm looking for with the bat-wing but I don't want to go too short. I'm leaning towards the Clearview but not certain of what height to get. I'm 5'5".
