Testing out a new video camera
Well finally the rain has stopped and a beautiful weekend of weather. Enough so that we got 300 miles of riding in. Here is a short clip from a video camera I borrowed from Matty (my sledding partner). Shoots amazing great quailty video and I borrowed it before I buy one. Make sure you check (before you watch it) in the lower righthand of video window to have the 720 HD option picked.

Boom .....
I have used a few different camera's. Used digital still camera's that have the video
option and also have used video (only) camera's. I even used one of the new Flip
Video camera. I was going to buy a VholdR camera
http://vholdr.com/
But my snowmobiling buddy found a camera that seamed better called a Go Pro
http://www.goprocamera.com/
So he bought the Motorsports HD version and I asked him if I could borrow it to
test how the video would come out compared to the ones I took already.
The original is ALOT better than what you see at You Tube.
I use Pimmacle Studio 14 for the video editting. I use Ram mounts to mount
my stuff to the bikes. The down side of the Go Pro is that it does not have a
screw hole on bottom. So I bought a few extra mounts and they come with the
double sticky tape and I mounted it to a flat Ram mount. I have one ram mount
system that uses a hose clamp type of system and can be clamped to just about
anywhere. I'll have to take some pictures of the mounts and how they are used.
Here is the You Tube page of all my video's
http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...ullhuntor&aq=f
I want to mount it to my helmet for the BEST viewing of a video because then
when you turn your head to look at the senery you get to see it instead of
just the road ahead. Some of my video's do show that but that was because
I have the camera's mounted on a neck strap and had to ride one handed
while I took the video.

Here are some pictures and the video.
I got the camera's from left to right in the picture.
The 1st two camera's are digital still camera's that do video also.
The 1st one is quite a few years old and only does 10 seconds of video at a time.
The next one is does continuous video.
The next one is a full blown video camera
The next one is the FLIP VIDEO camera. It takes pretty good video.
Lastly is the Go Pro camera that I will get !
It takes 5 meg pixel stills and 5 different video settings.
It will even take single pictures on a timer continuously.
The other picture is of my Ram mounts I use.
In the video you will see a handlebar mount on my Dyna that
I got from Kuryakyn. That was ONLY for the chrome piece
and not the ball. The ball is from the place I get all my Ram
mount stuff (GPScity.com)
Here is the video I promissed.
