Default Abbreviations Acronyms

For those of us that a not mechical incline, it would be nice if there was list or reference file for Abbreviations Acronyms. ie; SERT,TTS, SEST, ECM, AFR, VE tables and XIEDS. It could be a paste and added to as new ones comes a long.

Let me take a stab at a few of these.

SERT= Screamin Eagle Race Tuner(No longer marketed by Harley Davidson)

TTS=(Not sure what TTS translates into, they are the fine folks who made the SERT for Harley Davidson and not market it as TTS or Master Tune)

SEST= Screamin Eagle Super Tuner also knows as SEPST or Screamin Eagle Pro Super Tuner. This is what Harley replaced the SERT with.

ECM= Electronic Control Module

AFR=Air Fuel Ratio

VE Tables= Volumetric Efficiency Tables. These are tables used by tuners such as the SEST, SERT, TTS that is used to indicate how efficient the cylindar is at filling with air. (Others may be better at wording this than I am)

XIEDS=Extreme Inlide Enrichment Device...(Thanks Triguy)

BLT Is the only one I can remember. To many abbreviations not only for Bike related stuff. But when you go to the Doc's fot a ck up cbc ekg emg t4 smack all tests. When my Daughters talk shop there in Insurance. PPO Etc Etc have know idea what there talking about. Young people talk to fast and abbreviate to much. Thats why im not that commputor savy. To many abbreviations and no defaniations of what the new word is that there talking about or what it's fuction is or how it works. I remember I had a 1985 plymouth the MAP sensor went bad the dealer told me. What is a MAP sensor. manafold absolute pressure . It's a new world. Life was simple and easy in the 1950's and 60's

I've found that if you use a lot of HD on your backside and a little JD on your inside, you won't give a hoot about the rest of the abbreviations.
