Default HD extra long Oil Filter

Any one use the extra long oil filter part #63812-90 thats for the fxds. I was thinking about using it as its a lot longer will hold more oil is black should dissipate heat better then the stock chrome one. Just a thought.

Will it fit without interference with the crank position sensor?

Im using the KP Engineering oil filter. Its made from billet aluminum which dissapates heat faster, plus you can clean the filter and reuse it. It also has a small magnet on the filter insert >> http://www.kandpengineering.com/index.shtml

Im really happy with this filter

If that filter doesn't fit you could use the black filter instead of the chrome one. I use the black filters because I hate polishing the chrome one and the black is cheaper.
