The 10's as well as the 9's need to have the set-up turned on in order to do this. It will come on by itself when it hits a certain temp (285). Not sure where the sensor is but it doesn't take too long before you feel it go down to 1. Sure is alot better than the 8's with the exhaust re-routed. We were out in Rapid city on 8's and it smelled like an iron was on our jeans in traffic.

The heat problem isn’t just at a stop light; I’ve hand my legs toasted riding along at 40mph. Lets say that you are heading North and have a cross wind from the West; the wind blows across the hot engine and cooks the inside of your right leg. Make a U-turn and come back heading South and the inside of your left leg will fry! Now granted, I operate in 100-115 degree outside temps. and the outside air hitting you in the face is even warm but I never experienced engine heat like this on any of my other bikes.

The EPA should be forced to ride in these conditions and maybe, just maybe they would think twice about imposining these silly regualtions!

So with all the heat they give off maybe I will leave it that way so we can
ride all Winter. I'll have the Lynn lead and melt all the snow for me .... LOL ....

Front head towards the left side of where the induction module bolts on to the intake port.
