Just bought a new ALuma MCT trailer and was wonder what air pressure I should run it has the 12 inch wheels
The max air pressure is written on the side of each tire (you may need a magnifying glass to read it) and is dependent on the manufacturer of the tire.
Some will say 25 while others may say 40. There is no rule of thumb that I know of.
If it's new, your owners manual should tell you. If you don't have that, then go to the manufacture for the correct pressure. I really don't think any of us should guess at it.

Excellent advice!Tire pressure is too important of an issue to be guessing about, especially if operating in a hot climate!
The tire pressure printed on the side of the tire is “Max (do not exceed) Allowable Tire Pressure” and may or may not pertain to you depending on the load you will be caring and conditions you will be operating in!
As RVTriker stated: be safe, check with the manufacture.
Another way to decide on tire pressure. Load it , weigh it and go to the tire manufacturers web site, they may have a chart. Trouble is , most of these trailers are so light, the chart may not go that low.
Good luck
I have the same trailer and had the same question.. I called the manufacture and they said to run 35-40 lbs in the tires. I put 40 in mine and pulled great no bounce just smooth trailering. Hope this helps.
Max air pressure isn't the mandatory air pressure. The tires are meant to be on much heavier trailers/loads.
I had to play around a bit until I found the right pressure. On my Aluma MCT with the weights I was putting on it that was @ 30 psi. Too much air in the tires and the trailer will hop all over the place.
