Unless she is going down hill, 65-70mph is to slow for 6th. gear! I would never dream of passing someone on a two lane without down shifting from 6th. gear!

The TG is not exactly going to snap your neck when you accelerate but it is far from being a slug when ridden properly!

As a die hard “Gear Head”, I maintain that you can NEVER have enough power regardless if it’s an Airplane, Boat, Car or Motorcycle but that’s just me and I think that the TG’s power is adequate for what is designed to do but as someone else said the key word is “down shift” and I will add…”familiarize yourself with the power curve”!

I have enough power. One thing I notice is I shift more than I used to. Proper gear for the speed i'm traveling.
